FRI JUNE 2
BARRY MCGUIRE -
60’s Music Icon.. and the voice delivering one of the most recognizable folk songs of the 60’s, ‘Eve of Destruction’. There were few participants in the early Jesus Music scene as high profile as Barry McGuire. First establishing himself as a member of the extremely successful folk group The New Christy Minstrels, and then scoring a major hit with “Eve Of Destruction,” He wrote and recorded several influential records in the seventies, also traveled with Terry Talbot for years as a folk duo. Barry shares his unique style of folk & Gospel music with heartwarming stories.

VOICES OF PEACE

Aunique blend of southern Gospel and traditional well known hymns for all to join in. Also: FOREVER HIS - a new female trio from Sheboygan County, with a great blend of Gospel music, enriched by acappella arrangements, Southern Gospel, as well as Hymns of the Faith.

MICHAEL OLSON

A worship leader for his home church, Olson is also known throughout Minneapolis as a rising producer and more than capable player on a variety of instruments, including guitar, piano and drums. Recently signed to Rocketown Records, Michael’s debut CD, ‘Long Arm of Love has produced a couple of hits, “I believe in Jesus” & ‘Give My Life Away”.

STELLAR KART
- brings a 'fun' summer concert, these guys focus on youth music with a purpose, this band takes its new role seriously as it impacts youth nationwide with its unique blend of straight-ahead Power Pop/Punk songs and simple message with its debut All Gas. Special Guests; THE BRIGHTSIDE - an Indie/Folk/Rock band with familar faces but a new sound.... a mix of moody soundscapes and driving cinematic alt-rock to form a deep and ever-evolving palette of musical emotion. Sweeping pads and strings are layered beneath a complex texture of acoustic and electric guitars on top of a rock-solid rhythm section that support a sometimes gritty, sometimes ethereal, but always heartfelt vocal line.

AWESTRUCK

After years of each member being involved with different worship bands…Ben Picker, Caleb Ihrig, Jared Picker & Sam Chase formed Awestruck in ‘05. The band brings their personal experiences to worship with an Aggressive Acoustic Rock style….hmmm kind of ‘Shane and Shane’ styling!

DANVILLE FOLK

Inspired by the songs of Peter, Paul, and Mary, Simon and Garfunkel, and The Everly Brothers, it’s a natural for this family to sing the same type of harmonies….updated a bit to Contemporary Folk!

TRIAL BY FIRE
4-piece Sheboygan Rock band, three of which are brothers. Their original style appeals to a wide audience. Slappin' bass, & poppin' syncopations, provide the backdrop for uncompromising lyrics.

POOR BAKER’S DOZEN

From MN, this 6 man group blends tight harmonies with eclectic rhythms to create a totally unique Acappella experience. You’ll love their rich blend and energetic performance. Or...you may prefer their quirky humor and impressive array of Garbage Cans!

There is no admission charge at the door, but a free-will offering will be taken. The Cup O'Joy Christian Coffeehouse is an independent, non-profit, interdenominational ministry whose sole purpose is to further the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This is accomplished primarily through the performing arts, fellowship and various community outreach programs. We are supported solely though donations and dedicated volunteers.
