A Cool Vibey Night with:
SHAWN MCDONALD These songs are earthy folk-soul pearls explore elements that the 30 year old Oregon-raised, Seattle-based singer-songwriter has learned are essential for life, health and growth—clear, uninterrupted vision; fear-shattering trust; delight in truly good things rather than stomach-sickening junk; an unhurried rhythm of life that embraces each season as it comes; the contentment to hold whatever God brings in an open hand.

JAMES CREEK ROAD BLUEGRASS
BlueGrace had to cancel this date: We hope to rescheudle them soon. We've replaced this night with another one of our favorite Bluegrass Groups.
James Creek Road is a Midwest Bluegrass band based in northern Illinois. By playing traditional and contemporary Bluegrass music as well as performing their own original material, the band has built up quite a following in the northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin areas. James Creek Road's background touches on everything from deep down Southern Bluegrass and Gospel music to sharing the stage with several Country artists. So if you like good old traditional Bluegrass music, then you'll enjoy your trip down James Creek Road.

POOR BAKERS DOZEN REUNION
Dubbed, “the best vocal group youve never heard of,” Twin Cities based Poor Baker’s Dozen has a style all their own. Combining driving rhythms, intricate harmonies, heartfelt lyrics, quirky humor and a dash of garbage can percussion. They’re coming out of retirement just because they love the Cup O’ Joy so much! (And because they’ve been inspired by Brett Favre).
Dont miss this dynamic accapella Group... We are thrilled to have them put together a night just for CupOJoy!
2 shows, 6:30 & 8:45pm doors open 1/2 hr before each!

MITCH MCVICKER
Mitch is a gifted artist who was befriended by Rich Mullins back in college, and the two created a musical Canticle of The Plains. From song 1 recorded to the new songs still spinning in his soul; Mitch always IS talent expressed. Brilliant wordsmith abilities are matched with a range of vocals that deliver the message with passion. Beautifully written melodies flow in every channel of the songs. Passion, purity and poetic delivery are trademarks of his music.
NEW CD ALWAYS BELIEVE
Always Believe (releasing Sept 8) is McVicker's fifth CD and has people raving and calling it a more mature version of his very first CD. He will be performing solo to match Always Believe's powerful simplicity and, McVicker says, to "let the songs speak". McVicker will play a various array of guitars, harmonica, ukulele, and create percussion loops using everyday household items and mouth percussion. The concert crosses age boundaries as Mitch uses life experiences, humor, honesty, and lots of energy to engage everyone and encourage us to see God in all things.
