Remedy Drive - Native Tongues
Saturday, 05/23/2015

Indie rock band Remedy Drive released a concept album on freedom called Commodity. Freedom – the cry from the depths is the theme of an entire album – imagined through lyric, melody and sonic landscape. A concept album for liberty, to shine a light on slavery, to protest oppression and to empower rescue. We want to add to the soundtrack of the resistance.

The single Commodity went #1 when sent to Radio last fall.

"I've always felt like the wimpy kid at rock radio with my piano ballads and pretty songs", says frontman David Zach. "So this is extra special for us. Writing and producing this song with my brother Philip has been the most rewarding experience I've had in 20 years of making music. I'm so thankful for all the radio stations that took a chance on this counter trafficking song of freedom and tested it out on the airwaves."

Also: N A T I V E / T O N G U E S - an ambient indie band based in Oshkosh, WI. Originally formed in 2013, Brady Lee(vocals, guitar) and Steven Duke(drums) added Lor Xiong(bass) and Elliott Phillips(guitar) for an artistic and worshipful sound.

SPOKEN & The Price of Sanity
Friday, 05/29/2015

Spoken has always been bigger than the music it writes, or the members who play it. Its about sharing what Spoken believes to be a gift and a purpose with those who are willing to hear it.

Older albums have a harder sound, touring the country over the last few years promoting independent records with the likes of Living Sacrifice, ZAO and Pax 217. When “A Moment Of Imperfect Clarity” released they combined their harder sound with a unique pop sound. The band’s sensitivity to mass appeal is next to flawless: deeply emotional lyrics about change, love and life on the road. Bridging the gap between their prominently harder roots and their new found sensitivity, Spoken bring both worlds together with a positive lyrical attack. Also, while they have changed their sound and image to appeal to a wider market, they still bring a positive message based on their faith in their lyrics

2015 is a new year full of new life for Spoken, starting the new year with a clean slate, free from our management, booking and label relationships that did a great job helping us get this far. "We are now 100% independent and couldn't be happier with where we are at. God willing, this puts us fully in the drivers seat to write the music we want to write, be the band we want to be and do the things we want to do".

MANAFEST. ILLIA & Clear Pioneer
Friday, 06/26/2015

International rock artist Manafest (aka Chris Greenwood) releases his 6th  project, THE MOMENT.

rapper Manafest (a.k.a. Chris Greenwood) confronts his fallen nature with a fearlessness that inspires something close to awe. Since his 2001 debut, he’s refined some of his more abrasive edges and turned up the melodic quotient of his tracks. Still, his essential instinct for truthful testimony hasn’t left him, as The Moment makes clear. Manafest has always spoken to the confusions and temptations of youth; though older and arguably wiser, he continues to display the urgency of a kid taking on a sinful world. “The Edge of My Life,” “Cage,” and “My Way” are empowering anthems that draw strength from the Savior. “Bull in a China Shop” conflates fast driving, loud sounds, and upfront faith into a hard-rocking whole. The Moment's emphasis on tuneful pop matches the outward reach of the lyrics. The born-again joy of “Love Wide Open” and the spiritual affirmation of “Diamonds” (featuring guest vocals by Thousand Foot Krutch’s Trevor McNevan) are bursts of welcome positive energy. “Don’t wanna be counted with the cowards,” Manafest declares in “Criminal.” Not to worry; The Moment finds him as valiant as ever.

BURLAP TO CASHMERE
Friday, 07/03/2015

If You Saw this Show last year... you know how special it was..Invite Friends!

Burlap to Cashmere redefined folk rock in the 90s through its unique melding of flamenco and Mediterranean influences crossed with poetically introspective lyrics, yet the band bowed out in 2001 after years of nonstop touring alongside some of the biggest acts in the business took its toll. A decade after its split, the band that paved the way for The Avett Brothers and Mumford and Sons – singer /guitarist/songwriter Steven Delopoulos, guitarist John Philippidis and drummer Theodore Pagano – have reunited, with a New CD.

Interview with Burlap To Cashmere:

JOSH WILSON
Friday, 07/24/2015

A guy with chart-topping hits, an industry award for Songwriter/Artist of the Year, and critical recognition as “the future of Christian pop”—all well before age 30—should be walking around feeling lighter than air, right? A strong faith and a healthy marriage are even higher in that mix. So no one was more surprised than Josh Wilson when he had a serious panic attack last year.
“My strange symptoms culminated in severe chest and shoulder pain, difficulty breathing, and almost passing out,” he explains. “My wife took me to the emergency room because we thought I was having a heart attack.”
After several tests a doctor confirmed what had happened, and Josh went home thinking the out-of-nowhere anxiety rush was a weird one-time event. But it wasn’t, and the melodious storyteller was soon waking up frantic in the dark, even canceling performances for fear of losing control. Reconciling these unexpected shades of emotion with his long held beliefs has come to define Wilson’s intentionally joyful, duly heart-touching new album, Carry Me.
NOW BRINGING A NEW CD!
