Saturday, 11/01/2014

Indie rock band Remedy Drive is celebrating as "Commodity," the first single off the full-length album of the same name due out in September, reaches #1 at rock radio.

"I've always felt like the wimpy kid at rock radio with my piano ballads and pretty songs", says frontman David Zach. "So this is extra special for us. Writing and producing this song with my brother Philip has been the most rewarding experience I've had in 20 years of making music. I'm so thankful for all the radio stations that took a chance on this counter trafficking song of freedom and tested it out on the airwaves."

RYANHOOD - Untapped Potential
Friday, 11/14/2014

Named ‘Best Group/Duo’ in the 2014 International Acoustic Music Awards, acoustic-duo Ryanhood have performed more than 800 shows in 42 U.S. states over the past decade. They’ve shared stages with Jason Mraz, Matt Nathanson, Train, and Lifehouse.

Ryanhood began as humble street-performers at Boston’s Quincy Market, when they were spotted by a college booking agent and thrust into the college touring scene. Campus Activities Magazine would soon name them “one of the most requested acts by college buyers all across the country.”

Their airtight vocal harmonies, along with Ryan’s rapidly precise guitar riffs and Cameron’s soulfully rich lead vocals, create the pleasantly distinguishable “Ryanhood” sound.

They have since relocated back to their hometown of Tucson, AZ, where they have won more than a dozen Tucson Music Awards including “Best Folk Band” and “Best Rock Band” (you can decide for yourself which is most accurate).

With:  UNTAPPED POTENTIAL: players Eric Grosek on guitar and Jesse Merline on Cajon with an acoustic style that fits the campfire sing-along, toe-tappin praise and passionate worship Vibe.

Classical Guitarist Extraordinaire!

In the last decade, Keith Cooper has exploded onto the music scene as one of the most virtuosic and charismatic acoustic guitarists. He wears the hats of composer, arranger, music theorist, producer, and is even a noted author of several books surrounding topics of guitar technique.

Keith has successfully carved out an astonishing musical niche of his own. His dedication to the guitar is second to none, which is evidenced during his performances. Many testify that Keith's performances are "jaw-dropping" due to his use of alternate tunings and percussive elements on the body of the guitar, coupled with classic and original melodies.

GINNY OWENS
Saturday, 01/24/2015

Lately, the pop music landscape has been crowded with songs of escapism, songs that turn a deaf ear to daily reports of terrorist strikes, ethnic warfare and economic injustice affecting people in other parts of the world, as well as race-based violence closer to home. Ginny Owens wasn’t about to perpetuate that musical disconnect on her eighth studio album, I Know a Secret (out November  2014). Instead, she’s crafted a 14-song collection for this moment, every bit as engaged as it is introspective.
